Rutherglen Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that has been providing quality and compassionate care to dogs, cats and pocket pets. We provide care to clients in Rutherglen, Corowa, Chiltern and surrounds since opening our doors in October 2008. We are conveniently located in the picturesque Main Street of Rutherglen. Our practice is owned by Veterinarian Dr. Penny Reeves who has over 20 years of experience. ​

When we first opened our clinic we started with just one Veterinarian and two Veterinary Nurses. We have now grown to two to three Veterinarians and four Veterinary Nurses creating a small close-knit team.  The majority of our staff members have been working here for over five years growing our clinical skills to provide a high-standard of care. Our team is fully qualified and passionate about providing the best care for your pets.

We are well-equipped with in-house laboratory equipment, state-of-the-art digital radiology and ultrasound facilities, a full surgical suite with modern advanced monitoring equipment as well as separate dog and cat wards, creating a fear-free environment. We have access to an advanced surgeon with special interests in orthopaedic surgeries and we also regularly refer cases to ophthalmology, dermatology and behavioural specialists.

Being a business in a rural town allows us build long term relationships with our clients and we see their pets from cute little beginnings to the sweet, doddery seniors.
